Gordon River Cruises

We take pride in offering one of the best Strahan cruise over the Gordon River. We offer a value-for-money cruise, designed to provide full enjoyment of your World Heritage Tasmania Experience.

All cruises include;

Free travel for children under 5 years
Child rates for children between 5 and 16 years old inclusive;
Family discount for two adults and up to three children;
Individual prepared meal included, served on trays to each customer (no queueing required) and includes all Tasmanian produce of cold meats, smoked salmon, salads, cheese & biscuits and bread roll. (please advise booking office of any food allergy/intolerance)
Step ashore Sarah Island for a guided tour of one of the harshest penal settlements in Australia
Spend two hours on the Gordon River including a guided boardwalk through the Unesco World Heritage Rainforest
licensed bars on-board with a full range of beverages and snacks available for purchase (limited eftpos signal – we accept cash)
Allocated seating with access to all deck levels
All fares are in Australian Dollars and include the Goods and Services Tax.

Sarah Island Lantern Tour

The night-time Lantern Tour of Sarah Island is only for the brave. Tales of fear and dread are brought to life on this dimly lit, blustery island with a dark convict history. Lashings of local whisky, locally brewed beer and other warm morsels keep the shivers at bay.

Join the talented crew from ‘The Ship That Never Was’ as they lead you around Tasmania’s harshest convict settlement describing the fascinating past of this small island that lies seemingly in the middle of nowhere!

Warm up from the inside out with a taste of Tasmanian whisky or gin, some locally brewed Strahan beer and a feast of delicious hot food.
