We are the only tour operators in Tasmania providing a full ‘behind-the-scenes’ tour of a Cooperage including a barrel charring display. This is very special, and you will really come to appreciate the whole process to make whisky.
Our tours are small group tours, with a maximum of 10 guests. We want to give guests a personalised and informative experience. This tour is perfect for the whisky enthusiast who knows their drams, the occasional nip sipper, or the newest of whisky drinkers.
Our tour guide, distillers and coopers will show you the whole process of the great golden drop, and their love for it. We will explain each stage of the process in detail, exploring each different distillery and their unique stories; as well as understand the importance of the coopers and the casks.
By the end of the tour, you will have a new appreciation for whisky, the ‘water of life’, and a uniquely Tasmanian insight into our evolving industry.
