Tombolo Freycinet at Devils Corner Vineyard was opened in 2015 and enjoys a great following by locals, shack owners, interstate and international visitors.  The views of the Hazards Mountain range from Devils Corner Vineyard is a sight to behold; changing colour and tone through out the day, providing the perfect backdrop to enjoy a slice of thin crust wood fired pizza and a glass of Tasmanian wine. 

Tombolo Freycinet consists of 2 scenic Wood Fired Pizza venues, the original in the heart of Coles Bay overlooking the The Hazards Ranges and ‘new kid on the block’, a Wood Fired Pizza and Espresso Bar at Devils Corner Cellar Door and Lookout in Apslawn 10 mins south of Bicheno on the Tasman Highway. Drop in and enjoy the view, Tasmania roasted coffee by Villino, award winning wines and delicious thin crust wood fired pizza. Opening hours vary depending on the time of year in Coles Bay. Currently the Espresso Bar at Coles Bay is open Monday mornings and the Cafe is open Tuesday to Saturday for Lunch and Dinner and Sunday Lunch only. Tombolo @ Devils Corner Cellar Door is open 7 days from 10am until 4pm.

Tombolo Freycinet provides offsite catering services for festivals, events and private functions with our mobile wood oven. Some of the festivals you may have already seen us at include DarkMOFO Winterfeast, Hobart Wooden Boat Festival, Bicheno Food and Wine Festival, Rockpool Bicheno, Panama Music Festival. Andrew and Shannon have lived and worked in Coles Bay for almost 15 years, Andrew is an accomplished photographer and chef, Shan is a passionate explorer with an effervescent personality and a skilled front of house trainer.  They both share a love for travel, food, wine and fresh produce.  Recognising a shortfall in the growing town of Coles Bay, they opened Tombolo Freycinet in August 2011.

Tombolo’s signature wood fired pizza and espresso is teamed up with local wines by Devils Corner, and seafood by The Fishers at this must see viewpoint on your road to Freycinet.

Tombolo menu changes daily with a focus on seasonal produce and includes, wood fired pizza, salads, snacks, gelato & espresso.

Opening hours:

Devils Corner 10.00am – 5.00pm,

Pizza from 11.30am – 4.30pm.
