The Hotel Federal has been a landmark in the centre of Wynyard since its construction in the early 1900s and is referred to by the locals as the ‘middle pub’.

Burger Bar

Here at the Burger Bar we are pretty proud of our little Tassie island and that’s why we source our ingredients locally, where possible. It’s not just because it’s good for business, it’s because it tastes better! All of our burger patties are made on site using meat from the award winning (and we think, the best) butcher on the North-West coast – Sharman’s Butchery.

They also provide the massive 250g bratwurst sausages for our gourmet hot dogs. Our tasty brioche buns are made by local bakers right here in Wynyard. So take a juicy bite and support your local, Tasmanian businesses.
