‘Wykeham’ (pronounced wick-um) is the name of our 140 year old cottage, located in the rural town of Westbury in Northern Tasmania.Â
Originally built by the Lamb family in 1880 and run as a boarding house, ‘Wykeham’ is now owned by Nina and Paul who operate a small holding on 2 acres specialising in farm fresh eggs, micro greens and salad greens.
Our goal is to grow seasonal, healthy, tasty, nutrient dense produce for our local surrounding communities.
Due to the small nature of our village farm, we focus on growing fresh microgreens and herbs, picked fresh to optimise flavour and nutrition.
We believe in minimising waste and recycling therefore our spent microgreens and vegetable scraps from our large gardens are fed to our small flock of chickens. We believe that happy, healthy, organically raised chickens produce the best tasting eggs!
