Nestled in the the quiet rural village of Pyengana & licensed since 1880, you’ll find The Pub In The Paddock, the pub is now a Tasmanian Tourism Icon, having looked after many a weary traveller & local for generations.

One of Tasmania’s oldest pubs, you’ll discover rich local history on every wall of the pub, friendly locals who like to share a story or two and owners who make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door… & let’s not forget Priscilla the Beer Drinking Pig who continues to draw a huge crowd every weekend!

The next time you’re hungry for a bite to eat, our kitchen staff are standing by to cater to your needs. Pub in the Paddock offers a classic menu of home-cooked pub food that will please the whole family! We use local produce in many of our dishes, and take pride in serving the entire Pyengana community.

Stop by for lunch, 7 days a week. We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm, which are going to be our normal hours for a while.
