The Imbibers

The Imbibers are all about Tasmanian tasting and experience. Our menu is all about tasting flights, platters and small plates that highlight the AMAZING produce of the local region. Come visit us, taste, then take home the things you love.

We limit all of our beverages to those produced within 60km of Oatlands – which encompasses the Coal River Valley, the Derwent Valley and south-east Tasmania. We also specialise in Tasmanian cheese and a small menu of high quality Tasmanian produce. Tasting flights and platters are our speciality, with cheese-matched wine tasting flights, gin and whisky flights and a funky cocktail menu. The idea is to come and taste, decide what you love, then take some home from our providore. Our suppliers are small, hand-picked producers and we aim to have a weekly ‘meet the maker’ session where our customers can engage with these producers who can tell you everything there is to know about their products.

LOCAL WINES, BEER AND CIDER

All of our wines are sourced from the local region, from small family-owned vineyards. Enjoy a tasting paddle, matched with Tasmanian cheese, have a glass…… or buy a cheeky bottle (or two) to take home.

LOCAL SPIRITS

Boom! Suddenly our local region has become a go-to place for wonderful distilleries – giving Scotland a run for its money. Enjoy a tasting paddle, a wee dram, or a bottle under your arm for later.

Enjoy a small plate with your chosen imbibe. We have a small menu of quality Tasmanian made products to put that lining on your stomach. We source quality Tasmanian cheeses, meats, olive oil and other seasonal produce to compliment our drinks menu.

There’s only one thing better than cheese….. and that’s cheese with booze. We offer a variety of cheese matched flights featuring our favourite dairy goodness paired with local wines, beers and spirits.
