Little Devil Donuts

We’re a Launceston mobile food business making hot, fresh mini-donuts to order. We’re at all the best markets, festivals and fairs.

We, and in turn Tasmania, can thank our 9 year old daughter for the creation of Little Devil Donuts!  

After a family trip to Canada where we always visit a Toronto institution, Tiny Toms Donuts, we returned home to Hobart and starting lamenting that there wasn’t a local mini-donut business.  Tiny Toms cook their donuts right in front of you which is super fun to watch and makes for the freshest and tastiest donuts we’ve come across.  And believe me, we’ve sampled quite a few!!  

We decided that the only donuts worth eating had to be bite-sized and made 30 seconds before you eat them.   We make our donuts exactly that way using a machine imported from the US and serve them by the dozen.  

In January 2019 our family crossed the great south-north divide of Tasmania and we now call Launceston home.  You will still see us at  our favourite festivals around Hobart but predominantly now in the North of this fine state.

LDD makes mini-donuts served with cinnamon & sugar fresh to order. They’re about the size of a 50c piece and we serve them by the dozen.  We imported our mini-donut machine all the way from the international home of the donut – the U.S of A!   Our dough mix is made to a patented recipe – kind of like Colonel Sanders except we’re happy to share the ingredients with you!  

Find our cool red trailer and you’ll be able to watch the machine drop in your donut order and flip them half way so they are perfectly golden on both sides.

We think they are perfect as they come but we’re a little obsessed with salted caramel, lemon curd and chocolate sauces so we offer these home-made sauces for the super sweet tooth’s out there!

We are the one and only food trailer in Tassie (that we know of) that is cooking mini-donuts fresh to order. Guests love to watch their mini donuts being made right before their eyes and then to eat them deliciously hot and fresh seconds later.

Our trailer is eye catching and attractive and is we can begin cooking for your patrons 30 minutes after set up.  Our super cool donut machine can produce 1200 mini donuts per hour which means we can serve each customer in under 1 minute!
