We sell sustainably fed, ethically raised, and regeneratively farmed pork and beef direct to the public. That’s food you can feel good about eating.
Our goal is to raise food that not only tastes good, but that is good for the environment too. Come down to the farm and buy your meat direct, or check out our online store. We also do farm tours and offer a range of farm courses.
Who are we?
We are a family owned farm run by two brothers and their amazing, talented wives. Our ethos revolves around giving – giving our customers the best quality farm fresh meat we can produce, giving back to the community through our farm tours and farm services, giving back to the land, and giving of ourselves to others. Come and have a chat to us about why we farm the way we do, and how we are striving to be hyper-local food producers with a very small carbon footprint centred within Hobart.
Why we do what we do
The world has changed enormously. These days, children think farm fresh meat comes from the supermarket, not a farm. They are shocked to learn what it takes to put food on the table, and all the many steps it takes to become food. This loss of knowledge has been one of the motivating factors of how we farm, but more so, on why we offer farm tours. We don’t just want to show people a bunch of cute animals. We want them to get an in-depth look at how food is produced, where it comes from, the types of lives our animals live, the things we are doing to regenerate the land and be as sustainable in our practices as possible. If you live in Hobart or are driving past Forcett, pop in and see us. We’d love to show you around.
Here is just a little of what we do:
