Family business growing delicious and nutritious Oyster Mushrooms in old 1891 railway tunnel.

Our mushrooms are grown in an old 1891 Railway Tunnel in Tasmania. Australia. With optimal growing conditions for cold loving winter strains of oyster mushrooms. We offer white, grey and tan oyster mushrooms and also shitake mushrooms picked fresh to order. We can grow and harvest any quantity you prefer from 100 grams to several kilos. We offer healthy and delicious fresh locally grown mushrooms and also unique tunnel tours.

Why in a tunnel?  Because its climate offers optimal growing conditions for cold loving Winter strains of oyster mushrooms.  And, it’s pretty speccy with long table dinners now hosted amongst the ancient sand stone walls over the course of Summer … Tasmanian agri-tourism at its best.
