The market is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month for the whole year.

In fact, the Cygnet Market is one of only a few markets that go through the winter in the comfort of the locally iconic Town hall complete with live music.

Our market is growing, from 3 stalls 5 years ago we now have about 50 on a regular basis. The market starts at 10 AM and goes till 2 PM allowing ample time to enjoy local eateries before or after, as well as other Huon Valley attractions.

Cygnet is known for its fine fresh food, colourful people with music and art being part of our culture.

Come to Cygnet on Market Day and enjoy all the best our vibrant country town has to offer.

Aside from the wonderful community atmosphere, patrons can enjoy a wide range of daily items like fresh locally grown produce and health goods. Pre-loved items of an ever changing range, live music and artisan goods like art, jewelry, and woodwork. 

Market Stalls are an eclectic mix of arts, crafts, treasures from the garden and kitchen, preloved ephemera, treenware, and a delectable range of sweet and savory treats.
