Watershed Introduces a New Supper Series for 2024
Fostering Community Connection and Dialogue with Degustation and Delight
We are excited to announce the Watershed Supper Series, an exceptional monthly dining experience aimed at sparking community connection and meaningful dialogue around sustainability, food justice, and personal environmental stewardship. Carefully curated around seasonal produce, the Watershed Supper Series serves as a platform to explore and celebrate the intersection between food and significant societal issues. Each month attendees will enjoy a thoughtfully crafted menu curated by celebrated chef Isabel Sykes, showcasing the best of North West Tasmania’s seasonal ingredients and flavours.
Chef Isabel Sykes, known for her culinary expertise and passion for foraging, brings a wealth of experience to the Watershed Supper Series. After running the well-known Red Velvet Lounge café in Southern Tasmania, Isabel’s continued commitment to utilizing locally sourced ingredients and her knack for inventive flavour combinations promise an unforgettable dining experience.
The Watershed Supper Series will be an intimate gathering by design, limited to 25 seats per event to ensure an ambience conducive to stimulating conversation and connection. Guests can look forward to a memorable dining experience where delicious food is paired with enriching community dialogue.

The events are held in tandem with young people in the community. Leading up to all Supper Series events, youth participants will engage in workshops preparing them in front-of-house operations, ticketing, hospitality, and conversational skills, thereby enhancing their abilities and fostering their passion for community engagement.
