The Chowk is Australia’s first, if not the world’s first, Nepalese pub, owned by Dr. Kirin Thapa. It is all about celebrating the hundreds and thousands of Nepalese migrants living in and contributing to the multicultural richness of Australia.

The Chowk is a social hub for everyone to enjoy the foods, drinks, vibes and Nepalese-hood. Through the foods, drinks, and vibes, we would like to take you all through Nepal and the way how Nepalese people (or people of Nepalese origin) celebrate living, a beautiful gift of nature, all across the world.

Looking to celebrate your special moments in a memorable way? You may consider our venues for any special occasions. The Chowk Events Centre has two halls – Everest Hall (100 guest capacity) and Lumbini Hall (30 guest capacity) – for you to choose from. Our pricing starts from as low as $35 per person depending on the hall type, day of the week, the number of guests, and the menu type you select.
