The Timeless Way

By day, The Timeless Way is a unique cafe with exquisite service but on the first Friday night each month, it transforms into a live classical jazz venue!

The cafe is situated on the rooftop level of Channel Court Shopping Centre, offering glorious views of Mt Wellington and surrounds. With a northly aspect, the café in winter enjoys many delightful hours of enjoyable sunlight whereas in summer, it becomes a cool haven in which to sit back, relax and enjoy the views.

By day, the cafe menu is in full swing and on the first Friday night each month live bands & ensembles recreate the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and others from a memorable bygone era. There’s an la carte menu especially desgined for Jazz Nights, snacks are available & full bar service.

The Timeless Way offers a wide range of beverages, snacks and main meals.

Included on our menu is our famous all-day breakfast, as well as a range of sandwiches, salads, crepes and mouth-watering desserts.

All our menu items are prepared from scratch using tried and tested recipes that we have been using for many years. Where possible, ingredients are sourced from local suppliers in the vicinity such as Bruny Island, Huonville and Mount Nelson.

Our cakes, biscuits and muffins are likewise baked fresh from recipes that have all stood the test of time. Our buttermilk scones are legendary and there are many days when our cooks need to bake a 2nd and a 3rd batch to keep up with demand. Fully licensed, we offer a small range of selected wines and beers to compliment any meal.
