The Retro Bean is a retro styled 1972 Ford ex-school bus revamped into a mobile coffee business. Nicknamed “Priscilla” our bus was relocated here from Melbourne after working at events such as the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and Moomba. The Retro Bean is an Eastern Shore family run business with a sister coffee business ‘Gilano Coffee’ based in Melbourne.

We are passionate about coffee and our unique Hausbrandt Italian roasted beans have to be tasted to be believed. We also use locally roasted Oomph beans.
We are an event based mobile coffee vendor suppling coffees from perfectly poured Espresso to energising Lattes & Macchiatos served with a smile every time from our amazing baristas. We also cater tea, chai, hot chocolate, decaf and soy as well as icy frappes in warmer months and why not grab one of our locally made scones, slices, muffins, pastries or Valhalla ice creams to really hit the spot.
We have catered at Falls Festival, V8 Supercars, Hive, Lazy May and Shabby markets and local school fairs, and drive ins to name just a few events. We have high volume coffee output with 2 coffee machines on board and we pride ourselves on great service always with a smile.
