The Health Nut

We are a family of health nuts who work together to provide a healing and health service to our beautiful Tasmanian community from our little shop in East Devonport.

We believe in promoting Health, Happiness, Wellbeing and Beauty on all levels. 

A Health food shop with a difference. In our special shop you will find a large range of health foods- gluten free, dairy free, sugar free options, nutritional supplements, sports supplements, personal care, organic skin care and make up, crystals, jewellery, natural cleaning products, books, gifts, home brew supplies and every now and then beautiful Tibetan products. We tailor make Bach flower remedies and happily supply our items via post.On the first monday of each month our members receive a 20% discount on most instore items including supplements, sports products and personal care.

• We have an amazing loyalty program where every dollar you spend equals loyalty points. Your loyalty points are exchanged for a monetary value which may be redeemed off any purchase, as and when you choose.

The Health Nut has been operating on the East Side for over 30 years, we are a stand alone store which means we have complete freedom with the products we stock.  

We only buy in products we believe in, and products we would want in our own homes.  We especially love to hear about the products people are looking for, and are always happy to do special orders (if it’s within our power!).

Nelly Lenton is our in store Naturopath. Practicing Naturopathy since 2003.  

Whenever she is in store she is available for free over the counter Naturopathic chats.

Keisha Avery, cosmetic beauty therapist. Keisha specializes in Cosmetic tattooing especially Eyebrows, eyeliner and lip liner.

Jess Redpath and Leahanna Stevens are available for Functional Medicine consultations by appointment.

Our buzzing little hive can be found on the East side.
