Built in 1910 and situated in the Fingal Valley on Tasmania’s stunning East Coast, we are just a ninety-minute easy, scenic drive from Launceston. St Marys Hotel is an Historic Hotel providing high quality restaurant meals, accommodation & hospitality. We are centrally located in the peaceful little town of St Marys, close to beaches, waterfalls, golf courses, bike tracks, national parks and wineries. 

The village of St Marys is an ideal base point for exploring nearby St Helens and Bicheno, and is an easy day trip to Bay of Fires, Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park. Guests can also enjoy hiking or cycling in the areas surrounding St Marys including the beautiful East Coast.

St Marys Hotel is the best place to stay for bike riders as we have THE BEST rides right here on our door step. The Elephant Pass & St Marys Pass, an exhilarating 45-minute circuit going down Elephant pass, along the East Coast, then up St Marys Pass. Our fully enclosed beer garden is a safe place to leave & lock your bike overnight. 

We have 15 rooms upstairs, including Twin, Double & Family, all using shared amenities. Also, a guest Lounge with Tea & Coffee facilities.
Downstairs you will find our restaurant and public bar/lounge.
Our restaurant offers generously-sized meals made from fresh local ingredients.

Our public bar/lounge is the busy hub for all of our locals, community and visitors, featuring a full sized state-of-the-art eight ball table.
