Pod Chocolate is a boutique manufacturer of small batch handcrafted chocolates, located in Launceston, Tasmania.  At Pod Chocolate we pair superior quality couverture chocolate from France with the very best Tasmanian produce to create our range of luxury chocolate bars and chocolate coated products.

Pod Chocolate was created by local Tasmanian Bec Carins who discovered a passion for chocolate-making while living and working in Melbourne as a medical scientist.  Whilst in Melbourne Bec discovered a cooking school specialising in chocolate and patisserie, and soon signed up for every class they had to offer!  Bec then spent the next 8 years training with the best chocolatiers and pastry chefs in Australia and the world, entering and winning a number of national competitions, culminating in being awarded the title of Australian World Chocolate Master in 2014.

Bec made many trips back to Tasmania to visit family during this time, and it was then that she recognised a market in her home state for premium quality chocolates showcasing local Tasmanian ingredients.  When the opportunity to relocate to Tasmania with her young family presented itself in 2019, she jumped at the chance to move home and put her unique skills to use in her own business – Pod Chocolate.
