PACHINKO is an intimate, 24-seat modern-Asian restaurant centrally located in the Quadrant Mall of Launceston, Tasmania. We source produce locally to create a refined yet casual cuisine designed for sharing and the facilitation of fun times.
Produce & Ethos
Our produce is sourced locally and within season, as such our menu changes frequently. We work closely with our suppliers to guarantee high quality of raw ingredient, and where possible, seek sustainably farmed, organic and ethically produced. We strive to reduce food wastage and the environmental impact of our industry.
Our food is sharp yet subtle, fulfilling yet fresh. You will leave content and contemplating your next visit. We are inspired constantly and refine frequently.
Our menu changes regularly with the availability of ingredients. Dishes include a selection of smaller snacks followed by meat, fish and vegetable based sharing dishes. Our wait staff are well briefed on each dish and happy to guide you through your à la carte decision making. Alternatively, choose from one of our ‘feed me’ options and our chefs will provide you with a banquet style meal of approximately 6-8 savoury dishes.
Our menu is mostly dairy free and has a range of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. We are able to accommodate most dietary requirements if given advanced notice. However, our small kitchen space, commitment to reducing food wastage and micro-crew of chefs restricts us from having a fully inclusive menu on hand at all times so please advise us of your needs at time of booking so as to avoid disappointment.
Our drinks list contains a carefully curated selection of beverages to accompany your meal. The focus is on craft brews; sake; esoteric spirits; and local, small batch, natural, organic, biodynamic, & lo-fi wines. Our wait staff will happily guide you towards a beverage suited to your palate and food choices.
