Tasmanian hand made Italian-style liquori made to bring back fond memories or create new ones.
Osare (pronounced o’ za-ray) in Italian, means to dare. Dare is both my son and my maternal grandfather’s middle name. We produce Liquori, alcoholic drinks with natural flavours obtained through infusion, not to be confused with overly sweet liqueurs. Our aim is to extract the pure flavours of our island home in bottled form.
The liquori we produce is hand-made with a simple process, so that every bottle can be shared with food, family and friends to bring back fond memories or make new ones.
With the cleanest measured air in the world and pristine clean water, Tasmania is a haven for food and beverage producers. While the apple and cherry industries flourish in Tasmania, there is no lemon growing industry, yet this hasn’t stopped generations of families planting and reaping the benefits of abundant backyard lemon trees.
Osare’s journey started by making Limoncello, and has now extended to a range of liquori made from garden ingredients.

Hand-made from backyard fruit sourced from my garden plus other colourful characters around the neighbourhood. Artisanally combined with pure Tasmanian water, Australian cane sugar and grape alcohol to give a distinctive finish to every meal.
