Welcome to OLEADA, your casual neighbourhood restaurant in Currie, King Island. 

We are a relaxed dining spot big on fresh, regional food always skillfully prepared by the same chef. We use local meats, eggs and vegetables whenever available and only use locally caught finfish when we are lucky enough to source it. Wild fish, unlike factory farmed, is not always available so you may not find fish on our menu. We oppose fish farming both here and overseas. 

Our Tasmanian gin list is long and our reasonably priced wines are locally and internationally sourced. We are currently open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm. Our dining room is small so reservations are recommended but last minute tables are sometimes available.

We are proud to be a part of the King Island community, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and every memorable day in between. But we’re not just for special occasions; we cater for locals just finished work for the day and travellers to our shores looking for a tasty meal. Families are most welcome at all ages and stages.

We are open regular hours Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm.

Closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Takeaway is available from 5:45pm. Place your order anytime throughout the day and we will arrange a suitable time for pick up. Larger orders are appreciated placed as early as possible.
We use no plastic in our takeaway packaging.

 Please be prepared to check in on entry even if you are just in to pick up your takeaway. It is compulsory for all of us and will be a normal part of life for quite a while. It’s a bit of a pain but there is no going back into a world before COVID-19.
