Local Pizza opened in March 2015 bringing a new flavour to the greater Hobart dining scene. Our pizza is undeniably about “dat base”. Bubbly, spotty, thin, hand stretched, crafted with 100% GMO free Tasmanian flour to give that signature flavoursome chew. 

Topped with just the right amount of free range, local & high quality ingredients we offer a spin on the old classics packing a little more punch than you might expect. 

Our small restaurant seats 40 people with our long communal tables. Fully licensed we offer a  range local craft beer, cider and Tasmanian wines. Local Pizza offers both takeaway and dine in options.

We pride ourselves on minimising our environmental impact and for this reason we only use eco friendly packaging and have done since 2015. All clear containers and straws are Biopak brand made from compostable sugar cane or plant starch.
