Little V

All Tasmanian & vegan/vegetarian wine bar & restaurant Launceston.

I set out to create Launceston’s first fully vegan/vegetarian restaurant and wine bar, show casing Tasmanian wine, beer and gin.  

Little v was born out of my childhood experience of dinner parties. My mother would prepare the formal dinning room two days in advance with crystal glassware, polished silverware, ironed napkins rolled into ornate napkin rings and the centre piece candelabra with shiny new candles. The dining room chandelier was dimmed and the room soon filled the sound of sparkling corks popping and heady smells of roasted goods. Huge cut glass bowls of bright salads, fresh and baked garlic bread were passed around the table already overflowing with serving ware, glasses and a vast array of colourful condiments. Neil Diamond crooned from the huge wooden Phillips speakers in each corner. 

Little v offers a speciality small dinning experience surrounded by black velvet curtains, shiny copper cutlery, hand crafted crockery and a relaxed warm atmosphere.

Catering and Private Events

​We are available for catering private events and licensed until 12pm.
