In 2008 we opened our doors, offering Northern Tasmanians a fully integrated, true paddock-to-plate experience. For many years people had been asking for our lamb and beef so we fulfilled our Grandfather’s long-held wish and opened a butcher shop delivering a transparent and trusted product range. Landfall Black Angus Beef and Landfall Prime Lamb are now readily available to the public.

Since 1876 the Archer family has farmed “Landfall” on the banks of the Tamar River in Northern Tasmania. The fifth generation Archer’s established Landfall Farm Fresh in 2008 offering home grown Prime Lamb and Black Angus Beef. 

We are proud of our environmentally conscious farming operation which raises healthy, happy animals.

Specialising in paddock to plate produce from all over the state including our very own lamb and beef. Typically our meat is dry-aged to assists in tenderising the product and intensifying its flavour.

All of our animals are grown in a humane, free range grazing environment following the strict guidelines of our quality assured program. We give you confidence our product is free from both contaminates and hormone growth promotants.
