A Little Rock n Roll Brewery, Vineyard & Distillery by the sea. Located on Tasmania’s gorgeous East Coast and brewing craft beer for over 10 years, we now create Gin, Wine, Vodka, Brandy and of course, TASMAN Single malt Whisky.
IronHouse Brewery is located at White Sands Estate and offers four handcrafted brews. Our brews are made to traditional recipes from quality ingredients and Tasmanian water, sourced from our own spring.
They’re refreshingly unpasteurised and have no additives or preservatives. Join us for beer tastings daily or enjoy a beer on our deck.
Our 60 hectares of vines located on rolling hills overlooking the Tasman Sea produce fabulous sparkling, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and pinot noir.
Brewhaus Cafe & Bar
Located at the boutique White Sands Estate, which spans over 200 acres on the beach front, BrewHaus Café & Bar offers a relaxed dining experience and a friendly environment for the whole family.
We aim to source as much produce locally as possible which includes our own market garden. We have the freshest oysters from St Helens, our own IronHouse Point raised beef and now have our own Sauvignon Blanc and Sparkling wine for you to enjoy.
With our very own microbrewery we have fabulous brews to match our food. Come and do a tasting of our year round favourties as well as some limited edition brews.

We like beer. Actually, we more than like beer, we love it.
So much so in fact, that we brew our own. Its craft beer created using the freshest local ingredients and the crisp clean water of Tasmania. No added nasties here either, just pure beer the way it should be.

Distillery
At the edge of the Tasman Sea, where the old droving hut Iron House once stood watchful, we carefully craft our spirits. Oceanside, we distil, mere moments from where the sea floor falls away into the mysterious depths, the dark unknown.
Floating amidst the sea, in an endless parade of life, are stories and the battles that lie within them. This endless enigma, packed full of wonder, inspires us to create something unique, enticing and strangely familiar to compliment these tales……
In that tradition we have created our premium range of spirits, for all in which to indulge. Our dedication is absolutely uncompromising and complex. Mindfully distilled within the confines of our copper still, it’s the synergy between the purest local ingredients, the pristine waters and the cleanest ocean air of Tasmania’s untainted East Coast that balance and mature our spirits perfectly.

Here at Ironhouse, we’ve been carefully crafting our Single Malt Whiskies over the half decade. Unleashed and disgorged from the darkened corners of our bonding room and hand selected by Iron House Master Distiller, Michael Briggs, you will be treated to a full flavoured experience.
In an age old tradition we have created our premium range of Whisky, our Spiritus Frumenti if you will, for all to indulge in. TASMAN WHISKY is absolutely uncompromising, complex and 100% Tasmanian. Mindfully distilled within the confines of our copper still, it is the synergy between the purest malts sourced from the North of the state, the pristine waters and the cleanest ocean air of Tasmania’s untainted East Coast that balance and mature our spirit perfectly.
Vineyard
Here at the little brewery/vineyard/distillery by the sea, we carefully tend each vine to create our gorgeous Tasmanian wines with an authentic sense of place. At Ironhouse we put all of our love into the land. In the early years we focused on vineyard development and landscaping with an ethical outlook to grow a healthy, sustainable crop every year.
Nestled under the watchful gaze of St. Patrick’s Head State Reserve and mere meters from the Tasman Ocean, we’re ideally situated to grow many different varieties of grape. Graced with plentiful sun, the cleanest air and the freshest water, our vines have thrived in the 10yrs the have been developing/growing, producing a veritable microcosm of flavors.
We are proud to release these beautiful Tasmanian wines unto wine lovers everywhere…… We recommend matching them with great cheeses, fruits, specialty meats and of course, good friends and laughter.
