Gold Bar

A cosy speakeasy bar, specialising in Australian spirits. Hidden somewhere in an old mill on Hobart’s waterfront.

Gold Bar is one of Hobart’s most loved little hideaways. We make great drinks while our customers enjoy a relaxing atmosphere in which conversations flow easily and jokes and stories are shared. We have an excellent selection of local spirits, and can spin more than a few tales about their origins and makers, as well as whip up almost any custom or classic cocktail.

We are a small bar and only have a tiny amount of seats available due to social distancing requirements. We can however also seat people in the atrium of the City Mill Building.
