The Farm Gate Market (street market) on Bathurst Street operates every Sunday morning between Murray + Elizabeth Streets from 8.30am – 1.00pm. .

Trade begins with the ringing of the farm bell!

Every Sunday, come rain hail or shine, a busy street in the heart of Hobart transforms into a bustling farmers’ market. It’s all about Tasmanian produce and getting to know your farmer, and it always has been. 

Fresh, seasonal + regional produce, artisan foods + plants direct from the Producer. 

With a ring ding ding of the farm bell at 8.30am sharp, bustling trade begins at farm gate market…

…wade through a collection of prime Tasmanian fresh, seasonal and local produce and artisan products. Tasmania’s tastiest and most creative foodstuffs take centre stage at this gala performance.

You will discover hard-to-find cuts like free range Berkshire pork, game meats and rare breed beef. The seafood is fresh from pristine Tasmanian waters and the colourful array of fresh stone fruit, berries and heritage variety vegetables that will send your tastebuds into a frenzy.
