Clemens Hill was founded over 20 years ago in a remarkable setting within the bucolic Coal River Valley. Which is where it remains today.
The wines of Clemens Hill are and will always be, an expression of the whims of nature inexorably bound to the wisdom of winemaking. Indeed, the pursuit of a vinous expression of place takes precedence over the pursuit of accolades, but perhaps as a result of that philosophy, over time our wines have become festooned with prizes and accolades.
Drawing on multi decade experience in the Tasmanian wine industry, new owners Aurelia D’Ettorre and Rob Ware are on track to greatly enhance Clemens Hill wines. Exceptional grapes from their existing Tashinga vineyard now complement superb home vineyard fruit. The result is an expanded range of exciting wines, both single vineyard and carefully crafted blends using fruit sourced entirely from our own two vineyards.

Clemens Hill does not have a cellar door, because we prefer a more intimate arrangement on our terrace or in our wine hall overlooking the valley.
