Bay of Fires’ cellar door is the Tasmanian home of Bay of Fires, House of Arras and Eddystone Point Wines. You can visit our Cellar Door for tastings by appointment with a number of different experiences available across the day. Bookings available via our website. We kindly request you secure your tasting experience in advance via our online booking system. You can also purchase your favourite Bay of Fires wines from us to takeaway. We have a range of masterclass and tasting options, which are all experience driven and educational conducted in a safe and friendly manner. All tastings are seated in small groups with adequate distancing and structures in place. These tasting include Vertical Pinot Noir Tastings, Arras Sparkling Wine Masterclasses even a course for Riesling Fanatics!
Bay of Fires Wines was founded in the 1990s by a team of dedicated winemaking and viticultural professionals, who believed Tasmania would one day become the pre-eminent Australian region to produce cool-climate Tasmanian wines.
Bay of Fires Winery is the home for three award winning Tasmanian wine brands; the world class sparkling House of Arras, the popular award winning Bay of Fires Wines and also Eddystone Point Wines. House of Arras winemaker Ed Carr has been crafting sparkling wine for over 30 years and leads Australia’s most awarded sparkling winemaking team. Leading the Bay of Fires winemaking team is winemaker, manager and recent Len Evans Tutorial Scholar, Penny Jones. At the Bay of Fires Winery cellar door, we are open by appointment Thursday – Monday for tasting experiences and tours.
We also have a facility in place for contactless takeaway bottles sales, please contact our cellar door for pickup arrangements.

Looking to book a function in the Tamar Valley? Bay of Fires’ charming cellar door is available for weddings, cocktail functions, photography shoots and other special events.
A paved patio area is available adjacent to the cellar door, as well as a lush grass area if you’d like to install a marquee.
