Anvers is a Tasmanian Chocolate Factory est. 1989. 
Fine Tasmanian chocolates using Belgian traditional skills and recipes. 

Anvers Cafe is a traditional European style coffee shop that takes your taste buds back to the days when food was an enjoyable experience. The specialty of the house is of course chocolates, hot chocolate in many flavours, chocolate desserts and … more chocolate! Belgian breakfasts and light Tasmanian fare luncheon are served, together with a range of teas and espresso coffees for the morning and afternoon break.

Open every day from 7 am – 5 pm, with hot meals served until 3pm. To avoid disappointment, bookings are recommended for weekend and public holiday dining.

If you are busy and on the go, then our Take Away Menu is perfect for you – just ring (03 6426 2958) and order ahead and it will be ready for collection. We also offer a selection of cold platters which are just the thing for work place lunch meetings.

This is an opportunity to explore the local area and visit a winery and also call in to a chocolate factory.

1 Devonport Tour to travel through the local area taking in local wineries including Eastford Creek Winery at Sassafras as well as stopping off at the famous Anvers chocolate factory in Latrobe.

2 Anvers Museum of Chocolate Here you will sample the chocolate, look at the museum, hopefully what chocolates are being made and the chance to buy some lovely chocolate to take home.

3 Sassafras We will visit one or more vineyards where here at Eastford Creek vineyard we will get to meet the owners and have the opportunity to taste their great wines, the chance to stay on for a beautiful platter, and of course the chance to purchase some great wines.
