Amigo’s is the true definition of Mexican food, open from 5.00pm Tuesday to Sunday and located right in the heart of Hobart. 

Mexican food is a true blending of the styles of Aztec and Spanish cuisines. Until last century, many areas of the southern United States were considered part of Mexico. The influence of the ‘frontier’ on Mexican cooking, and later the immigration of rural Mexicans to the USA helped form a unique style of cooking, the result is a cuisine like no other and it’s right here within our menu!!! 

All meals are served mild but feel welcome to request us to cook to your taste starting with warm, medium, hot or even right through to “hurt me”. Amigo’s are also happy to facilitate special dietary requests or outside-menu requests by special “pre-order” 

Amigo’s is the perfect venue for your function. Whether it’s your birthday, hens’ night, farewell, homecoming or a business function, Amigo’s will have the package to suit so you won’t be disappointed. Amigo’s is a fully licensed venue and BYO bottled wine is welcome (charge applies). We have the largest selection of Tequilas and Mexican Cervezas (Beers) in Tasmania. 

We specialise in delicious frozen and shaken margaritas. Try our own blend of sangria made from our own blend of red wine, orange liquer, cinnamon & fruit juices.
