Here at Alps & Amici we offer an approachable haven for people who simply love food. Our unique shopping experience is second to none and we proudly serve the East Launceston community, meeting a diverse range of culinary needs. We have a range from the everyday to the extraordinary, with a broad selection of fresh, packaged and prepared foods, household and convenience items, and a level of personal service typically associated with an old-fashioned corner store.
Our idea from day one has been to create, produce and present great, full-flavoured food that has a beginning, middle, and finish to every bite for the busy time poor person. We are interested in the story behind the ingredients which make the dish what it is. We offer something for everyone, from tempting cakes to satisfy your sweet tooth to a delicious homemade meal to take home to the family.
We are open for breakfast and lunch from 7:30 til 2:30pm on weekdays… our chefs are passionate about delivering interesting, tasty dishes that leave you wanting more. Our menu’s revolve around the seasons so are constantly changing. We also like to highlight products that are available in the foodstore that you can take home with you and enjoy too!!!
Weekends are for relaxing and catching up with friends. Saturdays in the cafe start from 8am til 1.30pm offering breakfast, a few lunch items or maybe even brunch as you would have no doubt slept in….. that’s what you do on weekends isn’t it? The atmosphere in the cafe is warm and relaxed so you can make the most of your free time. Then on your way out take the opportunity to peruse & stock up on your food essentials in the shop to keep the weekend flowing.
Sundays our wonderful staff need a rest, so we will see you all back on Monday!
Dan’s kitchen is all about saving you time. Our chefs provide a range of seasonally prepared, ready-to-go restaurant style meals, ready for you to take home. Purchased in cryovac bags, they are simple to cook and easy for you to finish off at home. Along with our cryovac meals, Dan’s kitchen also prepares freshly made pasta and lasagne, seasonal salads, soups, quiches and pies. Our range is ever changing and will keep your taste buds excited all year long.
Also in Dan’s kitchen you will find a wide selection of meats, poultry and fish, locally sourced and stocked for you. It’s always about saving you time. Our approach when choosing what to put in Dan’s Kitchen fridge is to ensure it is of the very best quality.
We have an amazing team that makes Alps & Amici what it is today. The team is friendly, energetic and passionate about delivering quality products and exceptional customer service.
Our beautiful space is perfect for intimate private functions. We can cater for up to 40 people wanting a sit down dinner option or up to 50 for stand up events. Daniel and his chef’s will work with you to create an exciting seasonal menu to suit your group.
