The Tassie Beach Picnic
After a scenic flight from Hobart’s iconic waterfront, land at your lunch location, a pristine sandy beach! Journey to the Huon
Journey to the Huon has you taking off from Sullivan’s cove at the heart of Hobart’s iconic waterfront before tracking south towards Bruny Island’s northern most coastline. The seaplane will then head towards Adventure Bay.
A turn back to the northwest will bring us to the mouth of the Huon River to then manoeuvre for a water landing in the heart of the Huon River. You will arrive in style and be escorted to the Iconic Kermandie.
Relax by the fire as you relish in a carefully crafted three-course meal using the best local produce, whilst enjoying a complimentary glass or two of local wines, beers or cider.
Be enriched in the Port Huon local history as you return onto the seaplane, flying along the Huon Valley past the towering Kunanyi/ Mt Wellington for a water landing return on the River Derwent.
Meadowbank Wine Tasting
Fly in style direct from Hobart’s iconic waterfront and head North West following the River towards the sweeping hills of the Derwent Valley. After a magical scenic flight, touch down on the pristine water way, greeted by a member of the Meadowbank Farm and Vineyard for a winery tour. After enjoying a tour through the family run vineyard and the hills of Meadowbank, experience the delights of a wine tasting and a gourmet grazing table with some of Tasmanian’s finest produce. Take a bottle home with you to enjoy after your scenic flight back to Hobart!
Maria Island
Maria Island is a mountainous island located just off the east coast of Tasmania. Fly right from Hobart waterfront and take in views of the stunning East Coast before landing on the incredibly beautiful grass runway of Maria Island. The 115.5-square-kilometre island is contained within the Maria Island National Park and is a natural wildlife sanctuary and off-shore retreat with historic ruins, sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and plenty of stories to tell. Bathurst Harbour & Port Davey
