Sitting proudly on the corner of Tasma and Elizabeth Streets in North Hobart, T-Bone’s brewpub offers plenty of stainless bling with a bit of a twist; the steam-fired brewhouse runs on waste cooking oil and has beer pouring direct from the bright tanks.
Tom Bignell began brewing craft beer out of his father’s distillery at their family property ‘Belgrove’ in Kempton. It didn’t take long before T-Bone Brewing Co. was conceived, and it now sits prominently on North Hobart’s main strip.
Everything on tap and in can is handcrafted in-house. T-Bone’s first priority is quality, with key ingredients carefully selected both interstate and locally wherever possible. A core range that satisfies the most discerning of palates, while staying enjoyable to the masses. And don’t forget those seasonal beers that allow for a little expression and experimentation – historically they don’t hang around for long!
T-Bone Brewing Co. aims to provide drinkers with more than just a traditional brew. One that stays true and embraces the principles of brewing real beer. There are no corners cut at T-Bone. Come in, have a beer, and check out where it is all made. You can’t get much closer to the action than this!
At any one time, there is between 6 – 12 T-Bone brews on tap. We also have a selection of Tasmanian cider, wine and spirits. There is a fridge stocked full of cans, so come and grab some takeaways to enjoy at home.
We offer private tours to groups of 8 or more.
