Rendezvous Lounge Cafe

Rendezvous is a family-owned, family-oriented cafe right in the heart of Hobart’s famous Salamanca Place precinct.

Situated in the picturesque, and traffic-free, Salamanca Square, Rendezvous is the perfect place to meet family or friends for breakfast or lunch or a cup of coffee and a cake.

We have both indoor and outdoor dining areas, ensuring you will be comfortable whatever the weather.

Kids are welcome at Rendezvous (we have high chairs and colouring supplies for the littlies) and the Square offers the perfect place for them to stretch their legs in safety while you finish your meal or enjoy a second cup.

We aim to provide an extensive menu of good value, wholesome food featuring a number of Tasmanian specialties. If you’re feeling a little indulgent, then one of our range of cakes and tarts is bound to hit the spot.

We are best known for our $10 breakfast special – two eggs cooked to your liking and two rashers of bacon or two breakfast sausages, served on two slices of light sourdough toast with optional tomato relish.

We are fully licensed and also cater for BYO bottled wine (subject to a small corkage charge).

At Rendezvous, we provide an extensive catering service.  We offer morning and afternoon teas and lunch and we will deliver if required.
