Providore Place is a meeting place; showcasing the North-West region, where the city connects with the farms. It is an all-weather modern pavilion, that will be known as the place to see the newest and freshest products from Tasmania.
Providore Place Market Hall is an undercover, all-weather market space in the heart of Devonport, allowing us to cater all year round.
Ring in the weekend with Fridays @ Providore 5pm – 9pm, or enjoy a relaxing morning at the Sunday Markets from 10am-2pm.
Our Sunday Markets are frequented by a number of local (North West Tasmania) and Tasmanian producers representing the best in food, produce, arts and crafts.
You can enjoy the regular live music of our emerging local talent, keep the kids busy with activities, and marvel at the new art installations and other cultural activities taking place during our regular weekly markets.

Providore Markets were designed to give our locals a chance to turn their passionate hobbies into a living and share their wonderful creations with our community. Explore the huge array of stalls, each with their own unique product or talent, hear the stall holders talk passionately about what they do and how they do it, and enjoy supporting a small local business.
You’ll be spoilt with stalls of creative artisans, homemade giftware, freshly baked goods, produce from our local farms, delicious coffee and plenty of entertainment. With no stall the same and each person with their own story, the Providore Markets is a place to discover North West Tasmania and celebrate our local talent, in a relaxing environment catered to all ages and interests.
