Our Dining room has the finest view over the historic site, relax by the fire in winter and out on the terrace in summer. This is where the advantage of staying at the Port Arthur Motor Inn will become most apparent, our dining room is sited in the front of the building to capture what is arguably the very best view of the historic settlement of Port Arthur – a superb setting for dining.

This comfortable motor inn, the only hotel within the Port Arthur Historic Site, offers true hospitality and a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Pause for a drink in the bar and enjoy panoramic views over Port Arthur, views shared by the restaurant where you can feast on fine Tasmanian produce. Or just relax in front of a roaring fire in the lounge.

In Summer, take a drink out to the rose-bordered terrace to look over the Site. In winter, settle by the fire place and most importantly, relax.
