Me Wah is very proud of the dessert selection it offers its guests. We have recently taken traditional Chinese desserts and added a modern twist.

Expertly prepared by our Executive Dim Sum and Pastry Chef, Chao Wang, this collaboration of Western flavours and Asian fusion is a real treat for those in search of a memorable dessert to finish off their dining experience.

And why not choose one of the many coffee options available. Me Wah uses Tasmanian roasted beans and has specially trained baristas ready to make whatever coffee creation a guest desires.

Yum Cha is a Southern Chinese style morning or afternoon tea. It involves drinking Chinese tea and eating dim sum, small dishes usually steamed, fried or baked. Yum Cha is very popular as a family experience or for getting a group of friends together.

Saturday’s lunch you can select from our extensive Yum Cha menu list. On Sunday sit back and relax as our experienced wait staff wheel around all the splendid offerings. This is a great way to try a range of different flavours and delicacies.

On Sunday there are two Yum Cha sittings. The first is at 11:00 am followed by a second sitting at 1:00 pm. It’s advisable to book as Sunday Yum Cha is always very popular with regulars and first time customers.

The wine list at the Me Wah is recognised as one of the best selections on offer, not just in Tasmania, but Australia wide. We are very proud and humbled with the numerous awards we have received for our carefully chosen wines. To accommodate the wines served, we have dedicated temperature controlled wine rooms and cabinets to ensure the integrity of our wines is always maintained.
