Description

We are a French Pâtisserie specializing in Choux pastry. Opening Saturday 14th December 2024 in Launceston!

We will actually be opening our doors to the public from Wednesday 11th of December. If our doors are open, feel free to come in and discover in avant première our products.

We are two French people, Noémie comes from Rodez, a small town in the south of France, and Prosper comes from Bassin d’Arcachon, a coastal city near Bordeaux

Prosper is a pastry chef with 16 years of experience, involving 10 years of trade in multiple bakeries all across France. The last 6 years as part owner and head pastry chef at Manubakery.

Recently, Prosper completed a certificate 4 in Training and Assessing and wishes to become a pastry teacher.

Noémie has extensive experience in hospitality, you may remember her slinging coffees on Invermay road.

It’s hard not to melt when she greets you with her French accent.

She has a natural talent for connecting with people. Noemie has studied English literature and has a really strong interest in psychology.

Noémie and Prosper met in 2021 in Launceston Tasmania. After working together on Invermay Road for 3 years and creating great complicity between the two, they have decided to start their own journey.

Together, they decided to start Le Petit Chou, their very own French pâtisserie.

Prosper and Noemie have the ambition to marry the great Tasmanian ingredients with the classics of the French pastry.

At Le Petit Chou, Prosper and Noémie will offer sweet, savory, and gluten-free options to cater for most. Taking the choux pastry and offering it in an infinite variety of flavors and shapes.

A real French high tea place for Launcestonians.

Offering for the first time to northern Tasmania a place to order croquembouches for special events.
