At the Tassie Hemp Shop we are passionate about all things Hemp! We are excited to share and support our community in better understanding not only the health benefits of Hemp but the range of ways it may be utilised, whether it’s in food, clothing, beauty products or building material.

As a family, we want to reduce our environmental impact, and we believe utilising hemp for food is a great start! Hemp seed is a good source of protein and omegas for energy and vitality. We want to share this sustainable food source with the world, but first we will start at home.

The hemp seed we sell is grown on our very own farm in Northern Tasmania! Based near Deloraine, we are located in an ideal place for growing high quality hemp.

Our family farm is precious to us, having being passed on through four generations now. We have an affinity with the land and we do everything we can to nurture sustainable outcomes. Located in the Meander Valley in Northern Tasmania, Woodlands is prime property for growing high quality hemp. Our family is committed to teaching Australians the value of hemp as a source of nutrition, fibre and therapy for today and tomorrow.
