Description

A traditional English-style tea room in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley.

We are currently open on Saturdays and Sundays only for Devonshire Teas in the mornings and High Teas in the afternoons. For now, we are still open just on weekends but will consider opening on a week day for groups of 20+ for Devonshire tea or High tea.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL

Devonshire Tea

We make your scones when you arrive so they come to your table straight from the oven served with whipped Tasmanian cream and our own raspberry and blackcurrant jams.  $15 per person includes bottomless pots of leaf tea and/or plungers of coffee.  Gluten free and vegan scones available – please request these when booking.

High Tea

Our high tea is a selection of petite sweets and savouries served on a tiered stand per person. $45 per person includes bottomless pots of leaf tea and/or plungers of coffee.  Gluten free and vegan high teas available – please request these when booking.

Until further notice, and in response to the COVID-19 restrictions, our indoor spaces are limited to 12 guests in the Conservatory and 14 guests in the Drawing Room.  When weather permits, additional outdoor seating is made available on the verandah, under the wisteria and on the lawns outside the conservatory.
