Gala Estate Vineyard

Our Family have been living and loving this land for 200 years. We breathe the world’s cleanest air and are surrounded by 4 wild rivers and five private forest reserves.

This pristine environment and our connection to the land allows us to consistently make some of Tasmania’s finest Pinot Noir.

In 1821, Gala Estate was granted to Adam Amos. Orginally of Galashiels in Scotland, our family now makes up the 6th, 7th and 8th generations of descendants, producing a stunning range of hand-crafted, cool climate fruit driven wines.

Tasting Room

Our Tasting Room is open 10am – 4pm daily (except winter)

Wines by the glass are also available, as is wine for take-home orders or for delivery. You are welcome to join our wine club, The Black List and gain access to our Saffire Vintage sparkling Rose and other little gems, members also receive a complimentary tasting, member pricing and more.

Bookings for small groups (1-5) are not required for our wine flight tastings but as capacity is limited at our cellar door, you are welcome to pre-book for certain times. Bookings are necessary for groups of 6 up to a maximum of 12.

Wine Flights

Our tasting room is all about the wine. We offer 3 tiers of wines tasting for you to select from and if you purchase from that  tier, the tasting fee will be waived.
