The Interstate Hotel was built in 1911 and has been officially licensed since 4th December 1911.
A family run hotel that has been in the care of the same family since the early 1940’s. Now well into its fourth generation. Situated in the Town of Whitemark on the Western side of Flinders Island ‘The Interstate’ as the locals know it offers easy access to the commercial centre of Flinders Island.

The Flinders Island Interstate Hotel offers the traveller comfortable accommodation with a choice of several room types, from ensuite Hotel rooms with facilities, a ground floor apartment suitable for families or small groups, to our budget rooms which have been renovated with bathroom facilities down the hall suitable for the budget conscious.
