Besides being world-famous for our windmills, tulips and water management skills, the Dutch are also widely known for their amazing cuisine. Especially when it comes to the sweet side of things. The Dutch are massive cookie monsters, and we are very proud of it. We have moved to Australia in 2010, and we did not realise how incredibly Dutch we were until we ordered a cup of coffee in Darwin, and we did not get a bicky on the side. Because in the Netherlands, every cuppa comes with a small treat.
Many years and adventures later, we are excited to announce that we have started our own little Dutch bakery! We love our Dutch treats, and we are sure that you will love them too. Made with only the best Australian ingredients. You will find us at markets, events and shows around Tasmania. Through our online shop we send our Dutch Treats all around Australia!
Owners Richard and Melanie pride themselves on cooking with only fresh Australian ingredients and they can be purchased online or at shows and events across Tasmania. Once you have a Dutch treat we’re sure you won’t go back to an unaccompanied cuppa!
