Richmond’s New Maze and food experience has undergone a huge transformation since 2015 and we are now open to Amaze you.

SIX years in the making, Tasmania’s newest tourism attraction, the stunning $8.2m Amaze Richmond, has opened to the public. Amaze Richmond challenges visitors to solve 2.6km of traditional hedge and timber mazes that stand in a contemporary complex sympathetic to the historic surrounds of the iconic Richmond Village.

A little while back we planted a hedge maze that’s now well established at 2m high, and the new timber maze promises to bamboozle even the most astute maze-goers.

THE CAFÉ

The Café at Amaze aims to establish itself as a leading dining destination to the Hobart region, Amaze is in the historical township of Richmond. Surrounded by lush greenery, tranquillity, Tasmanian timber, modern architecture, the smart cafe offers a unique experience focusing on a mouth-watering, produce-driven casual food menu that changes with the seasons that has been crafted by our team of passionate chefs. Their passion is match by our enthusiastic and friendly maze crew that offer a relaxed atmosphere teamed with old-fashioned hospitality charm to complement our chefs offerings and the splendour of our hedge maze.
