The Fresh Hop Beer Festival celebrates the Tassie Hop Harvest, with local brewers sourcing fresh hops to make single batch hopped up beers to tap for the weekend.

The Fresh Hop Beer Festival celebrates the annual Tasmanian hop harvest. The event is a much-anticipated opportunity for beer-lovers and craft brewers to come together, sample different fresh hopped first harvest beers from around the state (and from across the bass strait) and enjoy a weekend of live music, food trucks and fresh hop-related activities.
We’re doing things a little differently this year! Festivities will kick off on Friday 14th April and we’ll continue on Saturday 15th April.
Yes there will be lots to eat and drink that’s not beer! A variety of local food trucks will be serving food on-site, plus there will be snacks available. We will also have a bar serving Tasmanian cocktails, wines and ciders.
All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and supervised at all times. Children (aged 12 & under) are free.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead.
