21 – 22 NOVEMBER 2020
Tamar Valley, Tasmania

Farmgate Festival takes place in the Tamar Valley on 21st and 22nd November 2020. Twelve small farms and vineyards open their gates for the weekend. Visit for farm tours and find out what it’s like to run a small rural business in Tasmania.

Farmgate Festival celebrates its fourth year in 2020, as the premiere farming and food event in the Tamar Valley of northern Tasmania.

A selection of farmers and producers open their gates for the weekend on 21 – 22 November 2020.

Go behind the scenes on the farm, meet the people who grow and produce your food and contribute to Tasmania’s great food story.

Ticket sales open on 14th September.

We’re delighted that Loira Vines and Moonlily Kitchen and Cakes have come on board to host exquisite dinners for Farmgate Festival.

Both enjoy a rich reputation amongst those in the know in the Tamar Valley, for their hospitality, uncanny ability to conjure magic from tiny kitchens, and dedication in showcasing the fine produce of the region.

Both venues will offer a dinner for limited diners on both festival evenings – Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November.

To assist with seating that meets Covid-19 safety requirements, please book as a group where possible.

In the event that the dinners are cancelled, full refunds will be offered.
