Emily Sanzaro Harpist and Art Launch Dinner Stillwater Restaurant, Mon 27th November.
Join us, Monday 27th November, for a special evening with talented local harpist – Emily Sanzaro who will not only play for us but also launch her stunning canvas art pieces which will be featured in our hotel rooms – Stillwater Seven.
Tickets are $110 per person which includes a glass of Havilah wine on arrival and a three course set menu. Havilah and Two Tonne wines will be matched to dishes and available on the night, charged on consumption by the glass or by the bottle.
Seating will be communal, please mention in your booking notes if you’d like to sit with specific reservations.
Emily started exploring visual art as a means of relaxation and creative outlet as a break from her work as a harpist, singer & innovative performing artist. Emily took a diversion from her first career as an Occupational Therapist, with her discovery of the harp serving a similar purpose as a calming, creative force in her life. As the harp has organically taken over her life, so too has painting. Between recording, composing and a performing life including residencies at MONA, Emily takes a breath expressing herself with paint.
Emily enjoys exploring textures and abstract concepts with acrylic on canvas mirroring the natural world around her and a lifelong obsession with clouds.
